The San Miguel Cooperative began its journey in 1956. 191 members met to defend their product in the market of the time.
They decide to build the winery to make their grapes and be able to sell their own wine and thus improve their position in price negotiation.
AUSEJO, OUR HOME
In this small village, the tradition of vine cultivation persists from Roman times to nowdays.
This has become a legacy to pass on to future generations.
The Ausejo´s winegrowers have inherited this good know-how from their ancestors and we are enthusiastics to face new futures challenges.
The day-to-day work, the effort and tenacity of all of them, has allowed us to have this cooperative with so many roots.
